01Who we are
EduVision X is operated by EduVision X, based in India ("we", "us"). We are the Data Fiduciary (data controller) under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) for personal data processed through the EduVision X website and apps. For classrooms run by a school, the school may be the controller and we act as its processor.
02Data we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: name, email address, password (stored hashed) and profile settings
- Content: presentations, code, uploaded files, quiz and poll responses, assistant prompts
- Classroom data: classes you create or join and your participation in them
- Messages you send to our support team
Information collected automatically
- Device and log data: browser type, IP address, pages visited, errors and timestamps
- Usage data about features you use, where you have allowed analytics cookies

04AI processing
When you use AI features, your prompt and the content needed to answer it are sent to third-party AI model providers that process it on our behalf to return a result.
Please don't include sensitive personal information (for example health details or student ID numbers) in AI prompts.
07How long we keep data
We keep account data and Your Content while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep it for legal reasons. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
08Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law.
09Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct or delete your personal data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing
- Nominate someone to exercise your rights if you are unable to
- Complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local data protection authority

10Children & students
EduVision X is used in education, including by students under 18. As required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we process the personal data of anyone under 18 only with the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian (usually obtained through their school), and we do not track, profile or target advertising at children.
11International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.
12Changes & contact
We will post any changes to this policy here and notify you of material changes. Questions or requests: support@eduvision-x.abhinavsai.com (EduVision X).
Grievance Officer: complaints about how we handle your personal data can be sent to our Grievance Officer at support@eduvision-x.abhinavsai.com. We acknowledge complaints within 72 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
